Toilet Paper Converting Plant & Machinery Solutions

Parent reels and wound paper cores are brought to the rewinder and loaded onto the unwind and core feed. Reel movement between the store and the line runs on floor and vertical conveying.

Plies are embossed, perforated and wound onto the core to build a log. Fibre and dust released at the winding head are taken away at source so they do not build up on the machine.

The log is sawn into individual rolls and the rolls are transferred to the wrapping line. Saw dust is captured at the blade and separated from the conveying air.

Rolls are counted into pack sizes and wrapped in printed film, then sealed. Batch and date details are printed onto the pack as it leaves the sealer.

Consumer packs are grouped into larger bags or cases for the trade. Cases are palletised, wrapped and moved to dispatch.

Rejected rolls, tail ends and collected fibre are shredded and baled for return to the mill. The whole extraction and conveying network is sequenced from a central panel.
