Shampoo Processing Plant & Machinery Solutions
Shampoo manufacturing blends surfactants, conditioning polymers, silicone emulsions and preservatives in water to make a hair cleanser packed in bottles and sachets. High shear mixing disperses the conditioning phase, and the bulk is thickened, pH corrected and deaerated before filling.
Complete Cosmetic Process Flow
Treated water is charged to the main vessel and the surfactant, polymer and additive quantities are weighed out for the batch. Powders are sieved and conveyed to the vessel so that they disperse rather than lump.
Anionic and amphoteric surfactants are blended into the water phase under slow agitation in a jacketed vessel. Gentle mixing limits the foam that would otherwise slow the batch down.
Cationic conditioning polymers and silicone emulsion are dispersed under high shear, then milled so the conditioning phase is carried evenly through the batch. Even dispersion is what keeps the conditioning phase from separating in the bottle.
Thickener and electrolyte are dosed to build viscosity, the pH is corrected and preservative is added. The batch is then held under vacuum to remove air before it goes to the fillers.
Bottles are rinsed and filled with a nozzle that tracks the liquid level to keep foaming down, then capped. Filled bottles are coded, inspected and labelled in line.
A large share of shampoo is sold in single-use sachets, filled and sealed on multi-lane form fill seal machines running from the same bulk. Sachets are counted into strips or bags for retail distribution.
Bottles and sachet packs are coded, checkweighed and collated into cartons and shipper cases. Cases are wrapped for despatch.
