Household cleaning products cover soap and detergent, fabric softener, dishwash liquid, floor cleaner and toilet cleaner. Powder lines blend and dry the solid ingredients; liquid lines dose, mix and thicken in tanks before filling.
Complete Household Cleaning Process Flow
Powders, salts and builders are tipped or drawn from silo and weighed out, and liquid raws are metered from tank. Material is moved between floors in closed conveying.
Dry ingredients are blended to the recipe and sifted so lumps and oversize do not carry through.
Detergent slurry is atomised and dried into hollow granules, or the blend is granulated and dried in a bed, then the fines are recovered.
Fabric softener, dishwash liquid, floor cleaner and toilet cleaner are made up in jacketed vessels, sheared until the surfactants are in solution, then held in tank ahead of filling.
Liquid is filled into bottles, jerry cans or gallon packs and closed; powder is filled by auger into pouches and sacks.
Filled packs are labelled, batch coded, cartoned and cased for despatch.
Powder handling, drying and mixing points are kept under extraction, and the exhaust is scrubbed before it leaves the plant.
Soap Manufacturing Process
Oils, fats, caustic soda, additives, fragrances, and colors are measured.
Ensures precise formulation.
Oils and alkali react to form soap base.
Produces soap base.
Soap mass is shaped into continuous bars.
Bars are cut and branded.
Final soap bars are packed.
Detergent Powder Manufacturing Process
Surfactants, builders, fillers, and additives are measured.
Ingredients are mixed into slurry.
Slurry is atomized and dried into powder.
Produces base detergent powder.
