How it works

Complete Cardboard Process Flow

Waste Paper Intake & Baling

Recovered paper and board arrive loose or in bales, are sorted by grade and fed forward. Tramp metal is pulled out of the stream before the fibre goes any further into the mill.

Pulping & Stock Feed

Recovered fibre is broken down in water and cleaned before it reaches the board machine. Our scope in this section is the feed conveying, storage and reject handling around the pulper, not the pulping line itself.

Board Forming & Drying

Layers of stock are couched together, pressed and dried into multi-layer board, then calendered and reeled. Steam, hot water and heat recovery plant serve the drying section.

Sheeting & Stacking

Reels are slit and cross-cut into sheets of the ordered size and stacked. Trim strips and board dust from the cutters are drawn off pneumatically and separated before the fan.

Palletising, Wrapping & Dispatch

Stacked sheets and reels are palletised, wrapped and moved to the dispatch bay.
