Bodywash manufacturing combines water, surfactants, pearlising agents, mild conditioners and perfume into a pourable body cleanser packed in bottles. Batches are made in bulk mixing vessels, the viscosity is built with an electrolyte solution, and the product is stored before filling.

How it works

Complete Cosmetic Process Flow

Batch Water & Ingredient Dosing

Treated water is charged to the mixing vessel and liquid surfactants are dosed from bulk storage against the batch recipe. Dry ingredients are screened as they are added so the batch stays free of undissolved solids.

Bulk Surfactant Mixing

The surfactant blend is mixed in a large jacketed vessel under controlled agitation until the batch is uniform. Slow, steady mixing keeps foam generation down in a highly foaming batch.

Viscosity Building

An electrolyte solution is dosed in stages and the batch is mixed until the intended flow behaviour is reached. Samples are drawn between doses so that the addition can be stopped once the target consistency is met.

Pearlising, Colour & Perfume

Pearlising concentrate, colour and perfume are dispersed into the finished bulk, then the batch is deaerated so the packed product looks clear of bubbles. The bulk is cooled before it is released to the filling room.

Bottle Rinsing & Filling

Empty bottles are rinsed and fed to a servo filler, then capped and labelled in line. Wraparound labelling is used for the cylindrical bottle formats common in this category.

Case Packing & Palletising

Filled bottles are coded, checkweighed and packed into shipper cases. Cases are stacked on pallets for warehouse despatch.
